Frederick assumed the throne on May 31,1740.

His father dieing lead to him becoming king of all Prussia scattered territories. He lead them to many victories and defreats.

He won control over Silesia in 1740 when he took Prussia through was against Austria's Hapsburg dynasty.

In 1756 the Seven year war begain Great Britain he took Prussia against France, Austria, Russia Sweden and Saxony.

By the end of the war Frederick doubled the size of Prussia.

Frederick and Empress Catherine 2nd (of Russia) allied together on April 11, 1764
